
On the 17th of November 2021 we marked the first year of the Cervical Cancer Elimination movement. On the same day, on the 11th Educational day of the National Cervical Cancer Screening Programme ZORA, experts discussed the results of population-level impact of HPV vaccination in Slovenia, attendance in the programme ZORA, cervical cancer elimination in Slovenia and other important topics. More than 600 gynaecologists, nurses, cytopathologists, histopathologists, epidemiologists and other collaborators of the National Cervical Cancer Screening Programme ZORA joined the online conference. Slovenia once again illuminated it's landmarks. The landmarks were illuminated in colour teal, the colour that symbolizes cervical cancer. One of the landmarks that were illuminated accross Slovenia this year is the Ljubljana Castle.
