On the 17th of November 2021 The Institute of Oncology Ljubljana will be hosting the 11th Educational day of the National Cervical Cancer Screening Programme ZORA with international participation.
Due to covid-19 pandemic, the 11th Educational day will be held virtually, exactly one year after the WHO launched a global strategy for the elimination of cervical cancer. Slovenia is on its path to cervical cancer elimination, however we are not there yet. The speakers of 11th ZORA day will present results of the ZORA screening programme during the COVID-19 pandemic and the future plans, the ZORA programme Guidelines and other important topics in the field of cervical cancer control, including HPV vaccination. The preliminary program is available HERE. Presentations will be in Slovene language, two will be in English.
